Task 3: Try and fill in these 14-2 notes (it says assignment, it's not an assignment). If you have your textbook, it will help, but you can find a lot about this stuff online. These are not for marks, but it will help you to do the Freud in the Media project |

Task 4: I would like to you begin the Freud in the Media Assignment. This my favourite assignment in the course! You will be psychoanalyzing a tv or movie character. This is a big project, if we were back in school, I would give you a week in class to do this assignment. Please work away at this and aim to have this finished by May 11

Task 1: Watch the Measuring Personality video and read through 2 pdf files below.
Task 2: To learn more about belief and schema reading from the Oatmeal (American lean, but good message nonetheless) Link. Please do read through this - we would definitely do it in class, and I find it really helps students understand the concept of "schema" and "world view".

Chapter 7: Sleep
Week of May 18
Task 1: Please start Reflection 7 (Sleep Diary 2020). For this assignment you need to track your sleep over 7 days, so please start this right away! Try to have this posted by May 28th.
Task 2: Please read through the 7.1 Sleep notes. Task 3: Please watch this video from PBS (Yes, the video is much older than you - but still relevent!) Task 4: Please read this Harvard article on blue light and sleep. Link as well as the "Wolfson adolescent sleep update"article on the right. Task 5: If you have Netflix, I highly recommend the 20 minute episode on Dreams from the "The Mind Explained" series. Task 6: Hopefully you are finding this topic interesting. Watch at least 3 of the videos below - you choose! |
