Citing sources: I will be asking you to cite your sources (references) when researching for assignments. If you are using your textbook, you will need to say so, and list the page that you got the information. Ex: Earth Science 11 textbook. Page 278.

- Astronomy (the Earth within the Universe)
- Earth Materials (Rocks and Minerals)
- Geological Time & Plate Tectonic Theory (Fossils, Age Dating)
- Atmospheric Science and Climate (Volcanoes and Earth Quakes)
- Oceanography and the Hydrosphere (the Water Cycle, Weathering and Erosion)

Introduction to Earth Science
Once you have set up your ePortfolio, please complete your first reflection assignment.
Reflection #1 Due Jan 28
Now that you have set up your ePortfolio, it’s time to enter your first reflection post. Go to your reflections page (which you have set up as a blog page) and click the blue “New Post” button. In the title field, type “ Reflection #1”. Drag the text icon from the left side bar into the Body field of the post. Once that is complete, type your response to the following questions:
Remember this is a Grade 11 course. I am expecting you to use proper, complete sentences in all of your assignments.
Once you are satisfied with your response, select the click “Post” button in the top right corner. You should get a “New post published” notification. The blue hyperlink in the notification is a direct link to your new blog post. Follow the link to check it out!
