In this unit, we will explore 4 areas of genetics. Specifically:
- DNA structure and function
- Mendelian genetics
- Impacts on the diversity of life (mutation and natural & artificial selection)
- Applications of genetics and ethical considerations

With a partner, or small group of 3, you will create a poster with the 5 stages of mitosis (Interphase, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase), illustrated with the Oreos & sprinkles. Your poster must be neatly labeled, with a typed description below each. Make sure to take a photo of your finished product and post it on your eP under the heading of “Mitosis” in the Unit 1 Biology section.
